Ranking Methodology
This methodology applies to registered and non-registered NDIS providers in the Northern Territory. Rankings are informational and do not replace independent judgement. Please consider your unique needs when choosing a provider.
Blended Rating Weights
We combine ratings from NDIS Reviews and Google (where available) using the following weights: NDIS Reviews 85% and Google 15%.
Default Browse vs Filters
The default provider list focuses on core supports to keep results useful for general browsing. Some specialised-only services may not appear in the default view. Providers offering specialised services will still appear when you search by keyword or explicitly select a service or registration group.
Confidence from Volume
We adjust for the number of reviews to reflect confidence. Reviews on NDIS Reviews carry more weight than Google. Typical multipliers: NDIS Reviews ×1.0 and Google ×0.4.
Smoothing
A light smoothing adjustment helps ensure a few isolated scores don’t outrank consistently strong feedback.
Spotlights
Published Spotlights may provide a small confidence lift and help break ties. They never replace real participant reviews.
