Review Moderation & Site Policy
Thank you for contributing to NDIS Reviews. Our goal is to ensure authentic, constructive, and respectful feedback for the benefit of participants, families, and providers.
How Provider Scores Are Calculated
A provider’s score shown on NDIS Reviews is calculated based on a combination of:
- Verified user reviews submitted through this platform
- Aggregated ratings from publicly available Google Reviews
This composite score aims to provide a fair and balanced view but does not constitute an endorsement or certification of accuracy.
Suspicious Review Detection and Moderation Policy
To ensure the integrity, trustworthiness, and safety of reviews submitted on our platform, we employ a multi-layered automated and manual moderation system. This process identifies suspicious behaviour and protects both participants and providers from misuse.
What Triggers a Review to be Flagged as Suspicious?
A review may be flagged for further moderation if it matches any of the following risk indicators:
- Repeat Submissions
Multiple reviews from the same user about a single provider within a short period of time. - Duplicate or Copied Text
Reviews that closely resemble others already submitted on the platform. - Promotional or Overly Vague Language
Comments that read like marketing content or lack specific details. - Low-Detail Anonymous Reviews
Anonymous submissions with very limited content or feedback. - Unusual Submission Patterns
Reviews coming from the same location, device, or network in a way that may suggest inauthentic behaviour.
What Happens if a Review is Flagged?
- The review is automatically hidden from public view.
- The author of the review can still see their own review with a note:
“Only you can see this review. It has been flagged and is currently under review by our team. Please refer to our review moderation policy for more information.” - Our moderation team is notified and reviews the content manually.
What Are the Possible Outcomes?
- Approved: The review is cleared and made visible publicly.
- Rejected: The review is permanently hidden.
- Updated: The reviewer may be contacted for clarification or to revise their review.
Can I Appeal?
